Our mission
The Creative Muslim Club is an international network of creatives dedicated to sharing the stories of Muslims through art, digital content, fashion, and community. Our social hub is located in The Hague, The Netherlands, where we facilitate our creative community and hold gatherings.
Our community is diverse, here, self-taught artists work alongside university-educated entrepreneurs, and young people are trained in graphic design while the elders work in the communal garden. We believe in the power of collaboration and work with all individuals and institutions who hold the welfare of Muslims in the highest esteem.
Opening
We opened our doors, our community opened their hearts during the opening exhibition. BBQ, Art, and community.
Gathering for Gaza
We came together through hardship and in honour of the Palestinians. Joining in conversation and advocacy.

The Team
CMC is based in The Hague and was founded by Ruşen Koç (director) and Qasim Arif (creative director). Our team has expanded to include Samira I. Ibrahim (community manager) and Handenur Taşpınar (project manager) as well as many other creatives who are part of our makers community. Our goal is to reclaim, redefine and reshape the narrative on Islam. We are unapologetic and envision a world where Muslim creatives collaborate in tightly-knit communities that support each other to create art and events that are accessible to us as Muslim creatives.
